September's Keynote Speaker:
Alissa Carpenter

Topic:
A Change of Workforce: A Focus on the Millennial Mindset

Key Takeaways:
Millennials make up more than a third of the workplace, making them the largest generation in the U.S. workforce, and arguable one of the most difficult to work with. The words "lazy" and "entitled" are often used to describe this demographic leading companies stumped on how to navigate the new culture. Taking a dive into the millennial mindset we will answer those hard-hitting questions on how to effectively attract, retain, and communication as a multi-generational workforce.
Attendees will leave this presentation with a thorough understanding of how their organization can create a culture to engage, education, and retain their Millenial employees. Millennials do not just work for the paycheck. Compensation is important and must be fair, but it's no longer the driver. The emphasis has switched from paycheck to purpose and understanding this culture shift will lead to a more engaged workforce.
